Eagles and Sea Otters of Homer
Alaska Photo Tour
Join us March 14 to 20, 2022.
We will be hiring a boat to take us out in prime eagle season. They take us out to photograph mostly eagles. We will see about 100 different eagles per day. We will also see sea otters in the bay
These are actually river otters. :)
We are likely to see mountain goats on the cliff walls during this time of year…Along with other wildlife and marine life of course.
We will be photographing out of a boat like this so we have lots of room and will be low to the water to capture those great shots of eagles fishing.
*Photographers can go in the cab when they are cold and can photograph from both sides of the boat.
Each of us will have our own rooms with queen-sized beds and ensuite bathrooms as we will be renting two lodges. Each lodge has three rooms. Each photographer is welcome to bring one guest. Guests stay free. Guests will be responsible for paying for their food like everyone else. Due to space restrictions guests are not permitted to join us on the boat during photography sessions. *Special considerations may be made if there are only one or two guests and there is room in the cabin of the boat.
Our lodges are located at the end of the penninsula with outstanding ocean and mountain views!
There will only be six photographers on this trip.
We will have the option of eating in restaurants or cooking and eating at the lodge. The restaurants are not cheap, so we don’t have to eat out every day. Cooking our own dinners and eating in the lodge will cut down on our costs.
